Bountiful Baskets

This morning we woke up bright and early to go pick up fruits, vegetables, and bread from the Bountiful Baskets Food Co-op. It was our first time and it was very interesting. We brought our own laundry basket and were able to fill it full with fruit and veggies. For the price we definately got a lot and plan to make this a regular thing. The Co-op is every Saturday morning and there are many locations to choose from. If you are interested you can get more information here.

After, we went out to breakfast at Denny's. It was nice. While there we realized that we had never went out for breakfast together before. We certainly need to do it more often. It is nice to get up early on your day off, go out for breakfast, and then just go home and just relax together.
I recommend it once a month. At least!

Softball Fun

This is our new Monday night excitment.
(Especially since the weather is so beautiful out in the evenings this time of year.)

A couple of Dustin's friends play softball down at a park not too far from our house and tonight we decided to go watch.
It was a lot of fun!

Dustin is going to join after this league.
I cannot wait to cheer for him from the bleechers!

Apartment Living

Tonight was a fun-filled night of air hockey at our complex.
We have a game room at our apartment complex that we live it.
It has: air hockey, billiards, darts, and foosball.
We let our competitive sides get the best of us.
Dustin won...

Here are a few pictures of our apartment:

when you walk in you see the living room:

Over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go

My B-E-A-UTIFUL GRANDMOTHER!
(soon to be a great-grandmother)

There is nothing better than grandma's home cookin'...
Last night, we enjoyed a wonderful homemade dinner at my grandmother's.

We had a Greek-like salad that you put inside a pita with scrambled eggs.
It was delightful!

Before dinner, we were given a tour of her place in which she resides.
However, as wonderful of a place that it is, it is currently under construction for improvements.
That doesn't stop grandma though.
Apparently 'Do Not Enter, Construction Personnel Only' really means come on in and show your family.
See Below.

All in all it was a fun-filled night with lots of conversation, laughs, and games.

Preggers??

I AM PREGNANT!!

This morning was our 3rd Dr. Appointment.

I am 12 Weeks pregnant.
I am in my 2nd trimester.
(This means no more scary miscarriage worries.)

I have not yet gained any weight!
Keyword was -YET- in that last statement.

The babies heartbeat is strong.
155 heartbeats per minute.
It sounds so lovely!!

Everything has been great so far! I have not yet had any morning sickness and now that I am in my 2nd trimester I most likely won't. I was very tired the first two months, but I now have all my energy back and I am loving every minute of my pregnancy. I could not ask to be with a better person as Dustin is there with me every step of the way. My favorite part is that he loves going to the appointments with me!! This is such a wonderful experience.

British Accent

It was an accident! I swear! I was just really, really, did I say really tired!!

Tonight Dustin and I went over to a friends house for dinner. Steak. Sweet Corn. Red Baked Potatoes. Delicious! Well, friends were visiting in town from Germany. They are lots of fun! My favorite thing about one of them is that they learned English in London and so when she talks in English she has a British accent rather than a German accent like when she talks in German.

--This is a key part of the story.--

After dinner we were all on the back patio conversing about a little bit of everything. Well, I was extremely tired and when I am tired my brain does not function properly... when I went to say something I apparently had a strong British accent. It was really embarrassing, but funny at the same time. At first my friend thought that I might be making fun of her or something, but then Dustin called me out on it and we all started laughing as I was trying to apologize. The sad part about this is that when I want to try and pretend I have a fun accent it never comes out right. I just have to wait until I am tired and around someone who speaks in the accent I want to talk in and it will happen totally unexpectedly and unplanned.
